HOTEL BRISTOL, Zermatt – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel had a few ups and downs. The rooms, spacious with a great balcony on the top floor, were well-appointed but weren't ready on our arrival just before 2 PM. The service was good but could have been friendlier. The location was fantastic with easy access to downtown spots, though clutter could easily be banished. The dining was delightful, especially being able to cook hot eggs, but a bit more variety would have been perfect. The facilities met expectations, and overall, it was a good value for money.

Staying at this hotel was a dream come true for me with its amazing view of the Matterhorn from the balcony, although the rooms were small. The service was top-notch and very attentive, making it a perfect location for various activities in Zermatt. Dining offered a variety, but the price could be a bit high. Overall, a luxurious experience worth considering.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and cozy with the convenience of having a ski rental right in the building. It would have been nice to have some entertainment options like games or a DVD player for rainy days. The location was perfect for exploring the town and enjoying hikes. The dining experience was above average with a great variety of choices. The facilities, including laundry and shuttle services, added to the overall excellent experience.

The hotel had comfortable rooms with a nice iPod player for relaxation, but they were a bit small, old-fashioned, and initially had a bleach smell. The service was pleasant and helpful, especially in suggesting great family hike locations. The location was perfect, within a short stroll to the cable car station and near many restaurants and attractions. The dining experience was outstanding, feeling more like a luxury brunch. The facilities were very good overall.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely amazing! The rooms were spacious with a fantastic view of the Matterhorn, and having a balcony looking up to the Matterhorn was just breathtaking. They were not only big but also clean and extremely comfy. The service, although the evening receptionist was a bit less than friendly when I requested a change of our stay dates at the very last moment, overall, the staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. The location is fantastic too, just a 3-minute walk from the center of Zermatt, making it convenient to access all the gondolas. On the downside, it was a bit small, but it had all the goods. The dining experience was good with a wide range of options to suit all tastes, even though it could be better for vegetarians. The facilities in the hotel are superb, offering excellent internet, free use of iPads, a boot room, and outstanding shuttle service with extremely friendly staff providing a warm reception throughout the stay. The price was a bit high, but the value for money was definitely worthwhile.
